Summer in the Seaport

Boston's vibrant seaport district comes to life in the summertime.
When you dock at Fan Pier Marina, you are in the heart of a bustling Boston neighborhood known as the seaport. Home to so many renowned restaurants, attractions, and more, the seaport is an exciting destination any time of year. There is a special spark, though, in the summer time, as Boston breathes in the fresh warm air and becomes a lively wonderland.
Summertime Favorites
Outdoor Dining
Seaport is home to fabulous restaurants, step out onto the patio or rooftop in the summer time to enjoy your meal under the sun and feel the cool sea breeze. Some of our favorite spots include Reel House Oyster Bar, located just steps away from Fan Pier Marina (did someone say sushi tacos?!?), Woods Hill Pier 4, known for their farm-to-table menu, and for a rooftop vibe, Lookout at the Envoy or Deck 12 are great spots to sip a cocktail and gaze out at the skyline.
Live Performances
Summer is concert season in Boston, and Fan Pier Marina is a short ride away from Leader Bank Pavilion - an outdoor venue right on the waterfront. This summer, look forward to names like Russell Dickerson, Chicago, Goo Goo Dolls, and more. More of a comedy fan? Check out Laugh Boston in the seaport. SNL cast members of past and Present are on deck this summer, with performances by Andrew Dismukes, Emil Wakim, and Melissa Villasenor all coming in 2025.
Getting on the Water
No boat? No problem! Fan Pier Marina is your gateway to the harbor. Go for a sunset sail on the Liberty Star or a private charter with Red Top Boats. After dinner at ReelHouse Oyster Bar, take a ride on Boston Launch Co's water shuttle for a drink at one of their partner restaurants around the harbor. Members of Freedom Boat Club have access to the fleet at Fan Pier, head out to one of the Harbor Islands for a day in the sun before returning to Seaport.
